China is leading on GenAI experimentation, but lags U.S. in implementation, survey shows

Chinese companies are leading in the experimentation of generative AI, but they still lag behind the US in full implementation, as per a recent survey. Results showed that 64% of Chinese companies surveyed were running initial experiments on generative AI but had not yet fully integrated the technology into their business systems. In comparison, 58% of UK companies and 41% of US companies were still in the experimental phase. US companies were found to have the highest integration rate at 24%, followed by China at 19% and the UK at 11%. Adoption rates for generative AI were highest in China at 83%, followed by the UK at 70%, the US at 65%, and Australia at 63%.
