China has announced the detention of an alleged British spy, emphasizing the country’s concerns about national security and foreign espionage. According to a recent social media post by China’s Ministry of State Security, the UK’s intelligence service, MI6, recruited a foreign national named Huang in 2015. The ministry claimed that Huang received training and specialized spy equipment for intelligence liaisons. This move by China indicates an escalation of its efforts to combat infiltration by foreign agents.
